What is the differences between buying a Red vs Yellow Cedar Wood Hot Tub?


Red cedar tub materials are 1.5″ thick and kiln dried.
Red cedar provides an r value of 8.
The average life span of a red cedar tub is 20 years.
Joinery: we use canoe joints convex and concave.
Tub floor is joined by means of 1/2″ tongue and groove providing 2-1/2″ of sealing surface between joints.
Top and bottom edges are routed inside and out with a 1/4″ radius to soften any sharp edges. Yellow cedar tub materials are 1.625″ thick and kiln dried.
Yellow cedar provides an r value of 10.
The average life span of a Yellow cedar tub is 23 years.

What is the Tub Banding specifications?


Tub banding is 201 stainless steel 18 gauge by 1-5/8″ widith stainless steel buckles. Round bar hoops are 1/2″ steel coated in abs plastic hoop shoes/lugs are galvanized steel.
